Not only you my friend. I think we'll see a sale soon or later but even for the half price i wouldn't buy it anymore. The whole "snapin" idea is so backward: I want to use the pro plugins i already have and love but not some mediocre stuff i have to buy on top of the "mother plugin". If they would be unique or strange in some way we can talk at least but this simple standard stuff? No thanks.
Yeah, I think you've hit the nail on the head. :tu: The FX are not all that 'boutique' for and are pretty standard. Sound wise I've not been blown away tbh.

It's pretty ez to do that type of routing in most DAWS (especially S1).

Now updated with free SnapHeap

Snap Heap is, much like Multipass, a modular system sporting super easy and flexible workflow using our range of snapin plugins. Advanced modulation and powerful routing makes it a breeze to cook up all kinds of crazy, or perfectly sane, effects.

Wow, after installing I gotta admit this could be the freebie Multi FX unit of the year :o :hyper: :tu:

Also a new (paid for) snapin has been added to the menu: Reverb

Quite a clever ploy to get people hooked to the concept! And yet... they need to come down with the price for Multipass. It's ridiculous right now.

Anyways, I can do all of that in Live, using the finest plugins available to mankind. Or to me, at least.

If the phase offset could be set for each individual Snapin would be REALLY useful

At least SnapHeap (plus 5 snapins) is free, and unlike DDLY it comes with a patch manager :hyper: :D

Lucky for me I had Disperser and Faturator from earlier, never found much use of them, but these can in fact be utilized inside Snapheap so I expect to be using them a lot more now.

SnapHeap got 4 serial buses, and each bus can hold a long effect chain, so even if it is limited compared to multipass, it should be capable of doing a lot of sound mangling

A new effect to snapin to the rack: Tape Stop

Costing $19 to buy: kilohearts.com/products/tape_stop

...and another one is added, reverser also costing $19

And another new snaps into action: RingMod

Is this still a thing ?
Thought they would have been giving the plugin away by now if they still charging for snap ins, most ridiculous scheme ever.
(270 euros with 17 snaps ins hahahahahahaha, can't you buy an entire DAW for that with even more effects built in hahaha)
Duh

This just in from KiloHearts:
Updates across the board

Some important bugs have been fixed.

Filters are a very fundamental part of many DSP algorithms.Obviously the kHs Filter plugin is using them, but truth is they are sprinkled all across most of our plugins. Since our plugins Snap Heap and Multipass heavily encourages modulation of effect parameters, coping with quick changes is something our filters need to do. Turns out they didn't.

Therefore, we have made a complete overhaul of our filter code improving it vastly. This has a minor performance impact, but the end result is much better. Now you can go totally cray cray in a good way, or whatever the cool kids say nowadays!

Yes.

I look at the site from time to time to see whether they've added anything like feedback routing or something else to set it apart from Ableton Live Chains, but nope.

Bummer.... That price bugs and all.

I thought the same thing mate, Ableton and S1 can do the same thing through routing (very easily).

Ah well...
