Sampletank updated to version 2

Version two of Sampletank for iOS came up on my updates today.

Seems to have lots of new features and loads of new IAP instruments.

But I'm confused by the pricing.

What's in the £30 Sampletank pro. Is it a bundle price for all the Pro instruments listed below ( classic keys, synth, drums and loops,bass and ethnic voices) or what?

I would like to know how big the additional IAP downloads are. Or is still every sample included in the 1.58 GB app.
Sample Tank 3 has over 33GB (maybe more now).
So i wonder how this could be sound the same.

Fails to update on my iPad 4. . Get a message that its not compatible.. Did they change it to 64bit or something else?

The App Store info makes it look like iPad Air 2 and better. I'm on iPad 4 as well.

Yeah failed on my iPad 4 too. Guess it requires a 64-bit device now.

Got a reply from IK...definitely will not work with iPad 4. Also, if you delete your current version they say you might not be able to download it again...and that its a bug with the app store. Since it was designed not to work with the 4 they should have released it as a new product or an in-app upgrade. Now I've got this 'upgrade' notification I can't clear out short of deleting the program...

A whole new app or in-app upgrade would have presented other types of confusion and complexity too, so it was a decision that was not optimal for some but note that the team is investigating the issue for those that deleted the previous version or who are otherwise affected by not having the previous version or those whose devices are incompatible with the new update. I appreciate your patience as they look into this.

And yes, the v2 update requires 64-bit devices.

I always download my apps/updates in iTunes and then sync across. This way I don't get burned by bad updates and can roll back to the previous version easily if there's a problem.

Yes, it should. If you are having issues with SampleTank via IAA please open a ticket with IK Support at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/ios-apps/ and they will troubleshoot and get it resolved.

Please note that version 2.0.1 is available now and the What's New states:

Worst update ever, especially for iPhone! Nightmare browsing. I liked the GUI better before.
Also these annoying pop-ups are there again

A good way how to make an app totally a pain in the arse (sorry) with a major update.
Maybe it works on iPads but on my iPhone i will never use it anymore.
Damn, it even let me thinks about finally selling Sample Tank 3.
Sorry for the rant but it is like it is!
