On the positive side, Presonus usually has stuff ready the same day when they make announcement.

They don't seem to do the "We're going to release this awesome new thing when it's done!" thing.

Interesting. I could be wrong but I would be surprised if it's Studio One v4 already.

If they do announce Studio One Pro v4 that would be a huge surprise and party time But I doubt it's ready. I was thinking it would be released early 2017. Although 'Major Software Announcements' could mean more than just an update.

I guess we have to wait and see.

A v4 release would blow away the release rhythm that they have established since the early days - x.0 -> x.1 -> x.2 -> x.5 -> x.6.

I was kind of expecting 3.5 to show up in the next six months. I'd put my money on that being part of the announcement.

Yes, I think a Studio One Pro 3.5 release is very likely !

The other announcement .... I have no clue . I think S1 Pro v4 will be out next year.

Merger of Notion and Studio One?

Almost certain I think- they just did a 50% off sale on Notation 'stand alone' and one of the guys presenting is from the Notation side.

It does reference 'unprecedented integration with PreSonus Studio One' though I reckon a cut down version in S1 to accompany the full fat new release.

How bad was the integration before? I mean, they've owned Notion since v4. If it's just the network connection ability, that doesn't interest me... I'll stick with Notion 5.
