Anyone else had this problem, that when they press play in fruity, it resets parameters of things?

I'm sure its something to do with the midi commands it sends on play, but i cant get it to not do it.. and it's becoming very frustrating.

any ideas?

Post

Right click in the parameter and click edit events / then click edit/ delete all. Or set the value you want and click init song with this position.

have you tried the techsupport forum here.

It has to do with your automation. Perhaps you tweaked your parameters while recording, and thats why it resets the knobs positions. Try what Beardedone said and see if it works. If not, then export the barebones and start another project.

actually in the browser of FL is a history of automation...you've some kind of event being triggered as mentioned above but the browser IMHO is the quickest way to find it and edit it... :)

@ beardedone - i've tried that previously.. and this was starting a new song from scratch.

@kode_poet & hink - i tried both of them to no avail, as said before, this was a new song from scratch.

@wopelka - yeah i popped over there and got my answer within minutes of asking. and heres the reult for anyone else wanting it:

In the drop down menu for the wrapper channel theres a "Send pitch bend" option, de-select this and the parameters won't be reset.
Thx to reflex from the techsupport board for that one

OK new one for me. Thanks for bringing this up.

I hope some of the people who are quick to put down IL's staff will see this. Not only are the staff members helpful (Reflex has helped me out quickly, and devoted his attention to my problems several times) , but so are many users...as long as you're civil... :D

yes, there is. the drop down menu of the wrapper, where you can import / export Cubase banks / presets...

Post

Not sure if this is related, but there's an option (on the Audio settings) that says to reset plugin on marker reset, or stg. like that. It's on by default...
