I want to click on a midi note clip and have it show me only the notes that have been played instead of the entire range of all notes of all octaves, wether they have recorded notes or not. There must be a way but I can't find it.

thanks!

by the way, is there a separate forum for basic questions like this? (and yes, I read the manual)

If I follow, it's right-click on the note, and "select notes of same pitch"

thanks for the response. What I want to do is display only notes which have been recorded. In other words collapse the display to just show recorded notes as opposed to the also displaying the notes that are not recorded.
