wavosaur-applying filter to selection affects whole wave?

that seems wrong.

(while editing a big wave file,i applied an- effects>chebyshev filter to a small selection,and it filtered the whole wave.it wouldn't've been so bad but i'd done a few lowpasses before i tried a hipass,which was when i noticed it.
got to start again.

i noticed too the filter effect processed the whole file , fortunaly it doesn't happens with VST

Yeah it's still a kinda buggy app but the Dev(s) tend to respond quickly to reports and suggestion.

Well, there's an update every several years, but, you can't really say it is being developed actively. And the UI feels like WIndows 98.
