Been watching Soylent Green and Logan's Run of late, but they can't really touch Blade Runner

Post

My favorite Classic SF would have to be the original
the Day the Earth Stood Still
the original Planet of the Apes
and Blade Runner

Post

/* static noise */

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Just think. In 2004, when this thread was created, crimsonwarlock started it by asking

"What classic (as in "old") SF movie(s) is/are your favorite ??"

And now all the films that were new when that was written, and the thread was last active, are now old enough to be considered too.
An idiot on Set Theory:

Alien, Pitch Black, Predator, Star Trek: First Contact, Matrix, Minority Report, Total Recall, War of the Worlds, The Thing etc... they just don't make good movies nowadays anymore...

Oops, mistype. Last post before the Numbo-necro was 2004.

A first and only post from KVR's good old days of 2002. If this thread had correctly been placed in the OT forum, n0 might just be some memory. Instead, his modest contribution still lives... :borg:

Yup, deep planning is what it takes :P

But then again, what is the beef, a classic SF movie is still a classic
