cheers for posting that; was there some sort of email to paid owners or summat?xNiMiNx wrote:Searched and this is the most recent thread, lots of good info in here so i thought it was worth bumping.
Soundshaper frontend has been updated this year. They have dropped Lite / Pro editions, and its now free. If you previously purchased it, you still get email support.
Composers Desktop Project, still relevant ??

Im really not sure (might have to dig through old mail accounts), but its mentioned on cdp and ss's sites. You can get the full version installer, and they also have an update for the old pro users.
Sites been updated this month, and seems ss was updated last month.

I hate necroposting, but i think this was worth it.
Edit: Seems even Sound Loom got an update fairly recently (at least newer than the CDP v7 release).

Excellent. Thanks for the heads-up WR. I didn't know Soundshaper was still being maintained either.

I've still been slowly developing the new node based CDP front end. (As a standalone app, I wonder if there'd be much value in making a plugin version but that's still a possibility too...) There are still some rough edges that will probably prevent it from running on other systems than mine, but I will soon review those remaining problems and release a public alpha/beta/something, if someone is interested. (Requirements to run the binaries would be Windows 7 or newer in 64 bit, or a recent 64-bit macOS. The source code might build for other configurations too, but I only develop and test with those systems in mind.)

So yeah, it hosts VST2/VST3/AU plugins too, because I am crazy.
(It's actually pretty nice to be able to put those standard type plugins after or before the CDP program processings...)
