It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

I kinda hate this method of copy protection, because you're tied to the developer, but I still bought products from Ableton, PreSonus, NI, iZotope, Plugin Alliance and Korg.
I only buy from big companies, as I'm scared of this type of protection coming from small developers.
It happened in the past, indeed. Kjaerhus Audio disappeared over night. Users got no explanation, and no way to activate their products any more. This case also had a very nasty rumor on top as a bonus.
