No idea where that patch is?

I haven't downloaded any sound libraries, yet. Probably won't either, but if that sound was worth it, I'd download it of course!

Anyway, here's my choir patch. You need a reverb, though! Plays best from C3 to C7. Due to the nature of the filter, though, "AH" (modwheel up) will be weak in the lows and overall a bit quieter.

Thanks, Chris! But, uh, that ain't half as good an example of what's possible with formant like effects as it's possible. In other words, I'll later try to make a fun showcase, too. Even my choir features almost natural qualities that are pretty exciting, I find.
I'll have a look.
Oh, there's a great preset that comes with the download, featuring a voicebox like guitar thing, by the way. Nifty! I'll look up the name later!

You should adjust the speeds to your liking, of course, but it can sound quite convincing and fun.

Oh, hey, here's a quick example of my choir patch, which really sounds more like a choir and strings patch, once the modwheel opens up.

...but it's really kind of neat. I have two reverb on it, which does make it sound drenched...uhm...because it is, but still:

Well, I didn't want my entry to be a total waste of time (Because we all know where it's going to end up) so I threw some vocals on it and tossed this version onto my Vocaloid playlist. This is NOT the official entry. You can find that one on page 1 as I was the first one to finish, taking all of about 2 hours. Lyrics and Vocaloid track took as long as the whole rest of the song did.

Only other modification, other than added vocals, was replacing Cubase compressor on master buss with FabFilter Compressor which alone made a ton of difference in the mix. Just one more reason why I get so frustrated doing these. I don't work well with free tools.

Anyway, for anybody who cares, here's the Vocaloid version.

Nice stuff! almost gave me some christmas feelings. Speaking of which, It's Liberty Cap (Psilocybe Semilanceata) season up here now!

As fas as I understood is on Amazona the latest official version.

it's a release candidate, and nothing has been spotted to prevent the release afaik. Not sure why it's delayed tho. But can be considered as stable i'd say.
