Absolutely. My main host (FAIAP) is predominately Sound Forge, which is 32-bit.

The software aspects of the 64-bit transition/obsession has been an overly long compatibility PITA. I obviated the majority of conflicts by just keeping/using both. Not to mention having a substantial investment (spanning nearly 40 years), in numerous apps that never made the leap to 64-bit.

Despite having tried/bought too many "DAW's" to list (some for ONE 'feature' that others lacked), I've never had much success with "wrappers" in any of them, even from way back when the Vst format started competing/edging-out Dx, so I've kept Ableton Live-7 (full) and a 32-bit version of Live Lite, on a couple of machines.

I've also used Xlutop Chainer (32-bit) and Cantabile (both 32/64-bit) for years, as stand alone, and as a Vst 'hosts' within Live, and have tens of dozens of instrument and effects chains presets I use for specific things in sound design, many of which never made it to 64-bit, and are indispensable favorites.

I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

I don't even know what that means, but, ok, whatever dude. ;) I wonder how you knew then that it had been replies to your post though, because, AFAIK, you can't see that when you used the foe function. Could have just been replies to anything else in this thread.

Sophomoric means juvenile or adolescent humour.

As far as i can see, it rather means that i'm bragging around, or something, which i really can't see. All i see is some bitter old man who pretends he has me on his foe list, to make an offensive point, while he's still reading my messages, obviously, otherwise he wouldn't know that the posts were in reply of his stuff. And all that even though i have neither been respectless, nor offensive towards him. Just becaue he is what he is, a bitter old man.

Its use in this case, being (ironically) rather "sophomoric" as well.

I answered "yes" as I have a couple that are still on the PC, but I don't use them as much anymore: Sampletank2xl and SonikSynth2. Everything else I use is 64-bit.

Indeed :)

I answered "No" because I only have one 32bit plugin (VAZ Modular) and I rarely use it, especially after purchasing Reaktor 6.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

No. 32bit plugins are sophomoric.

I'm surprised by the amount of people that still use 32 bit. With all the criticism welcoming new SE & Flowstone synths, I was expecting the numbers to be the complete opposite. Of course, this is just KVR. Maybe things are quite different else where on the net, in other communities.

I would suspect not so much. It isn't as if 32-bit is "dead" across the board, as even Microsoft continues to support it with a 32-bit Win-10 version. Much of the SE/Flowstone criticism was/is the result of sooo many half-baked/lame-ass and glitchy releases (IMHO). There were/are many exceptions to that, e.g.:

To name a few.

The Variety of Sound effects are work of art imo.

64 bit OS, 32 bit version of the host, 32 bit plugins.

64-bit across the board, except for DeLaMancha plugins for, ironically, 8-bit sounds...
