Hey Samplitude users, just some feelers out as I'm having some issues with the midi editor on my fresh install of X2 suite on a clean install of Win7.
1. Midi notes record in correct values as played by the midi keyboard, but only show up as a single short note that corresponds to whatever is selected in the Q menu. In addition to this the pencil cannot draw notes longer than one block, as opposed to the conventional drag to draw longer notes. Notes play back at the played in value despite this.
2. This brings me to the main issue which is that after recording it is impossible to elongate notes by dragging the end longer as I am used to.
3. The step record function seems to conk out after the first note of a triplet entry; placing all subsequent notes on the same division just making a massive chord. This only happens with triplets, and only happens when I use my midi keyboard (akai mpk). Works fine with computer keyboard entering the notes but obviously I lose velocity control.
Has anyone encountered these problems before?
Thanks for any help.

With regard to issues 1 and 2 make sure you have Cell/Velocity turned off

I'll look into issue 3
