Hello Attila!
Thank you for the new beta!
Variation "Delete short notes" works great.
And personally helped me a lot!))
At About MIDI import ...
These ideas are just super!
It is not clear to me from cutoff midi file ...
As trimmed phrase?
As yet different MIDI files behave differently in the process of cutting ...
I would like to phrase was cut off at the beginning and the end of the file and at the same time added to the song! Now it is mutually exclusive functions.
Ie
- "Add to an arrangement and cropped."
And it may be possible to make cutting a long phrase into meaningful small segments, like it is done in the programs for cutting audio to the regions?
I would like to (a cry from the heart!)):
-Button "play" (only for the selected track !!!)
And as far as possible ...
-options "Preview for the entire progression" (but not only for each chord!)
- "SAVE progression"
"Chords Master track replace progression from import midi file"
"Import with replacement track number ...."
These are just suggestions)!
Sincerely lulukom

And Attila ...
Variation "Delete short notes" / Default slider should be in the far left position (0).
And variations "Quantize" in default 1/64 .. not BEAT, as it is now!
Thanks !

You are so right, lulukom, I already changed the default values to make sense.
The improvements on the MIDI import page will continue. I did not forget the 'trim empty bars' request, and importing "Channel 10" will have several options.
"Under the hood" a smart, universal chord button was created that will be used everywhere in the program. These can be seen on the MIDI import page, although with very limited functionality. These buttons will offer preview, entering chords from the MIDI keyboard or typing from the computer keyboard, help with chord progression editing, etc.
Thanks,
Attila

RC VST is not following the tempo map of the host.
Maybe someone else can try this at their end.

No, it does not follow the host, this is a known issue. Well, it is rather a design decision.
RapidComposer has its own tempo map internally.
However this will be fixed in the long run.

Hi,
a few months ago i start to wonder:
1-Idea Tool recognizes the scale of the progressions,
but when we drag same progressions from browser to master track,
we have to define the scale manually
(this one probably will gone after save scale with the progression)
...
2-also Midi import does this well...
but if we drag same midi to a track and use the
Phrase inspector to replace master track chords
again we have to define scale manually...
I think it would helpful if we get this smart scale recognition also in this two area.
Warm Regards,
Yıldırım.

late night catch
(was trying to create Full Patch rcINST for my new toy Korg M1)
this from one of my old report (from a few post back)
"midi channel adapting itself to next empty midi channel while changing the Instrument patches"
it was also same when drag instruments from Browser.

quick Q
wouldn't be more useful if Rotate Notes Variation has ability to move notes according to snaps optionally?
