I never use DCAM Synth Squad, Massive or Absynth. I sold HELIX, Sylenth1 and Diva.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

The Mangle. It's cool, but not really for the music style I make (yet). Still hope to make some use of it

I'm really surprised at how common of an answer Massive is. I find its modulation immediately appealing and powerful, and its clinical sound cuts right through a mix even if it's not as interesting by itself. Prob one of my favorite synths I own.

Anyway, for me it's Absynth and Z3ta. In both cases the interfaces are far too fiddly which means too long dialing in a sound. I also find Z3ta's mod matrix counterintuitive.

NI is the clear winner for me: Pro-53, B4 II, Massive, FM8 and Absynth 4.

Also bought the original Maschine and Traktor Kontrol S2 and never actually used them. :dog:

i got it because i liked scanned synth pro and i thought it was going to be an improved version of that.

it isnt...its terrible...i hate it.

just about every sound it makes sounds like various versions of a fork being scraped across sheet metal.

Not so flattering for NI.

I've been thinking about purchasing Absynth. But now I might just have a second thought.

I've Rapture and Rapture Pro. But I never really use it/them.

The main reason might sound silly..but...the GUI makes me feel sick.

SampleTank 2, Sonik Synth, Philharmonik, SampleMoog and SampleTron. I neve rused.

However when IKM released the free ST3 cusotm shop AND added the option to load legacy libraries. I started to use thos ehtings again.

The same situation :) but though it was cheap.

Harmor.

Can't even say why. Maybe it's the GUI, don't know. There's just always other synths that I go for first.
No signature here!

Iris 2. Already had Omnisphere, so was surplus to requirements.

Tal Bassline - Got it as a discount. A bit of nostalgia, fun to play with, but was limited in use.

Trilian - Already had a plethora of bass sounds, so barely used.

Omnisphere 2 - No drive space, so little use.

Most of the NI synths - Bought Komplete Ultimate.

Although technically it was $49.99 for the intro price so doesn't count for me.

yeah...technically you are right. though theyre selling it now for 79.99...which is absolutely nuts.

80 bucks for the same awful sound over and over again.

Going to through 2 in the ring both for the same reason - GUIs need an overhaul and larger to move with the times for VDU and res use they are now microscopic and text almost illegible :

Korg Legacy and Waldorf PPG

Hold on to them with the hope that one day they may grow up :)

Z3TA 2. Every sound made on this synth is like a dentist's drill to my ears. Plus, the interface is incredibly off-putting (menus within menus within menus...grbblfx).

D16's Phoscyon. Nothing personal against it, but it completely didn't click for me. I bought it thinking I'd use it for a specific project, played around with it a little, ended up not using it, and never felt the need to go back to it. It's relatively cheap, but still my biggest "never used" purchase.

Linplug Alpha 3, to my ears it just sound thin

Organ 3 on the other hand, that is a nice sounding plug :)
