Indeed.
I downloaded those for mac and pc and whilst they weren't necessarily large files, the server was flying....

Some nice features in the upgrade....undo/redo finally! and ratings in the mini browser are the two that tickle my fancy the most.

Yes...also hiding the mini browser is useful for me since i work mainly on a notebook.
I just wish one day for drop and drag modulation and resizable UI. That would be the dogs bollocks :)

Audio demo tab now says "coming soon" rather than "coming September 12th". I wonder how long that will be there. I think they had coming soon for years where audio demos should have been for omnisphere.
Edit: looks like they are up already!

Waiting to see if there will be any discounts for those who already have the other three instruments before I would even contemplate purchasing. Im sure the quality of the product will be first class but really, how many more electric pianos does one need?

There are no discounts for new products....just for upgrades.
Spectrasonics said that discounts may be handled by resellers....whatever that means.
I don't need any (new) electric piano f.e. but bought it. :) :hihi:

Companies like Audio Deluxe are selling the boxed version at a discounted rate for members. It worked out to about 15% off the total if I were to purchase from there.

I'm going to wait for some audio demos first, but I am definitely interested in how this stacks up to the competition.

I've seen it £7 cheaper and free delivery from Music Matter, that's in the UK. I want he box as I have Omnisphere 1 and trilian Boxes they are nice to see in my draw. I want a new typing keyboard and watch first though. I think Keyscape will floor the competition due to them using over 30 velocity layers and the option to integrate it into Omnisphere 2.

Download version isn't available from retailers? Only boxed? Makes no sense when you have to pay $30-$60 for shipping.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Demo files are released now.

My Sweetwater rep quoted the price as $379 US with free standard shipping. It comes with a USB key installer too. For $20 less than digital I think I'm willing to wait for stock to arrive there. Especially since Spectrasonics charges for additional downloads.
Feel free to call me Brian.

If all would offer downloads it would break their server (again) maybe. Since all downloads go trough their server.
But it's odd of course if you have to pay so much more shipping. I get the shipped version for less than the spectrasonics download at my reseller (best service).
But it's different for every country of course.

• Available as Download (77 GB) or Boxed USB Drives Edition
• Optional “Lite” installation (30 GB) for stage use

But if you click on "boxed" on the spectrasonics site you always will be redirected to a reseller in your country!
And all resellers seems to have bust boxed versions!

That's a bunch of demos for sure.... :o
BUT....that they just link a soundcloud site which i hate and can´t use most the time due to the worst sound quality and bad servers it´s not spectrasonics like. Indeed, they seems to created a new soundcloud account (did they ever had one?) to outsource audio demos. Mmhhhh..... :?
Whatever, i don´t need to hear them all..... :)
