How does the full version compare to NI Replika XT? Would you need or want them both; which one would you prefer; would you buy the PSP delay if you already had Replika XT? Thanks for your input

The interfaces of Replika XT and PSP stompDelay are quite different, so based on how a user prefers the hand on approcach, that could make a difference.Sim.Sky wrote:How does the full version compare to NI Replika XT? Based on the specs, Replika XT seems to be more versatile, with 5 delay modes.
I wonder if Replika XT is the right delay plug to compare with PSP stompDelay. Replika XT is more like Valhalla ÜberMod IMO.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Num! The point in my case is that I'll most likely upgrade to K11 Ultimate in the not so distant future, and thus will get Replika XT sooner or later. I'm just wondering if it would be worth buying the PSP delay now or if it will collect dust anyway as soon as I have Replika XTNumanoid wrote:The interfaces of Replika XT and PSP stompDelay are quite different, so based on how a user prefers the hand on approcach, that could make a difference.Sim.Sky wrote:How does the full version compare to NI Replika XT? stompDelay is more of a "one trick pony" compared to ReplikaXT, but the trick it does is rather excellent, so I think it is case of speciality vs versitality.
Sometimes versitatlity and too many choices can be a hinderance, because one just needs something that hits the nail on the head.
Other times one want to experiment, and appreciate versitality.
My advice in the end is to get both.

Just execute the key file.e@rs wrote:How's the activation process done?
Best copy protection and activation process IMHO!

All PSP plugs are serial number activation, a reg file adds the info to the registry, you even get a combined one which does all your owned plugs in one go
Doesn't really get better than that.

Thanks for that information. I've had StompDelay on my radar since it came out, but with a ton of delays I passed on it, but for $24.50, I can't resist.hivkorn wrote:GUYS!!!!!!

Inspected my existing delay troops... They can definitely win any battle. No new recruits needed. So, no buy.
