Hey,
I have been looking into a few new plugs lateley, first rhythm(microtonic/ravity(r))and then saw Gat'r which just amazed me with its possibilities.
When i bought XT it opened my eyes, so i now think, what else for £50 or less can give me something really new, or change the way i do things? Tried audomulch, first impressions not great.
Any suggestions? Vsti/VST/Host/Utility? I spend so much time keeping up with certain apps, i may have missed something good!

I own EXT (as well as Tracktion and ERA) and am currently demoing Audiomulch. first impressions weren't this good here either, but the more i work with it, the more I'm loving it. I use EnergyXT + ERA inside Mulch for midi, and Mulch as an FX machine. Jamming heaven.[/b]Tried audomulch, first impressions not great.

I'm going to get Mother Ship Astrobelt and Harptime Pro for $36.90 on Monday (maybe), but there are tons of other great plugs offered in this deal.

Hey guys,
thanks for the suggestions.
I already have Synthedit, Vertigo and used to own the dash collection, and they were good but didn't get much use.
IS there a link for anarchy effects? And what is spectral relativity for, i don't really understand.

£50 would buy a lot of acid. That would take you somewhere new but you might not come back the same
i think spectral relativity sell impulse responses for IR reverbs like SIR. i tried a few of the demo ones and they're pretty cool for creating new sonic dimensions with your synths. f**k me that sounded poncy... sonic dimensions

In line with a point raised by Robert Randolph in another thread, I offer a suggestion.
You might want to consider buying not a plug-in (heretic, heretic!) but a book. Perhaps one on music technique, history, or theory; maybe one on a musician you've always wanted to know more about; or a book of electronics construction projects for musicians...
Another possibility: a subscription to a magazine that covers a musical discipline or instrument you're interested in. Twelve goodies instead of one. :-)
Best regards,
Meffy

Yes. Never trust first impressions.quincy wrote:Tried audomulch, first impressions not great.
A nice way to discover what it's all about is to create a "Mulch only" project and see how far it will take you.
Very far, I can tell you.

hi Quincy,
there's one other incredible bargain besides eXT that I know of:

I might be mad, but i always get the impression that the drum/percussion end of the VSTi market is a bit lacking. I know about a few of the good drum machines like RMIV, DR008, Battery etc, but seems to be very few rhythm synths and drum synths.
Ravity(R) / microtonic look and sound great, but very little else around in the same vein.

that shit's not even funny, saying "you can get.."
if you can find acid, buy me some! i'll sort you out and send you an analog clap box or some shit for it.

stretch your budget and go for Rhino.
I can't believe that thing's so cheap. Awesome sounding beast...
I would concur with tetraplan re Audiomulch, although I don't own it, I took some time to play on it a while back and, given more time, I would certainly say that it's hugely powerful. Don't turn your back on it so easily
