What formerly commercial VST/VSTi are now free and still available as such?

Tone2 Firebird and E-mu Proteus VX are the two i could think of now. There's lots of magware, like Tone2 BiFilter 2, Filterbank 3, Warmverb, Synapse Dune CM/BE, and the u-he magware stuff too though, some of those more limited than the payware versions though.

They're not exactly free software that used to be commercial, but like chk071 mentioned, Computer Music Mag has a real treasure trove of stripped-down commercial plugins.
