I had been eyeing this library for years, since it came out in 2011. However, I could never justify spending a full $300 on it. Last month, there was a sale on it. I managed to snag this for $150 or so at BestService.de.

I've tried just about all of the major guitar libraries (except for Electri6ity) and man, this is the best sounding guitar library I've ever used! The realistic sound outdoes every guitar library I have at the moment, that includes the Ample Sound, Music Lab, Impact Soundworks, and Orange Tree Sample libraries...at least when it comes to metal genres. The programming side may be a bit long winded (a little bit) when it comes to articulations, but it sounds FANTASTIC. I've heard the demos for years, but I don't think a lot them do V-Metal justice.

I also love how they updated it a while ago and added the possibility of lower tuning and loosening/tightening the palm mutes. It all sounds great. It sounds so good, that I'm making my first EP with V-Metal.

Anyone else here using this? I'm absolutely shocked how well this holds up to the more recent libraries when I consider how long ago this came out! It even outdoes a lot of them in a lot of categories.

Haven't tried it, but I've always been curious about the Prominy stuff.
