I like M-audio stuff ... hopefully their current line of affordable stuff will continue (monitors and soundcards especially)

even though they SAY the consumer and hobbyist lines will stick around.. I kind of wonder if everything will be more geared to play with protools now than anything and operability with other hosts will get slightly less support..

The other thing is that M-Audio was always good about supplying info to the Linux community about its hardware. This led to the fact that I can use my Delta-series cards in Linux. I wonder if Avid will stop that practice.
I just generally think of them as being "protectionist" with their stuff...
I hope I am wrong...
