This thing is truly amazing !
Now you can blow up everything to that I'm-bigger-and-better-and-fatter-than-you-radio-sound (if you want to).

You want that prodigy-fatness on your drums ?
Try this !

on the downside :
No GUI (you have to start a seperate exe-file to watch 6 parameters) and a latency that makes it unusable for realtime purposes.
And it's a bit of a cpu-hog.

But this secret weapon will stay for shure in my "dynamics"-VST-folder...

Yep. I can't understand the optimod or something like else phobia.

If it sounds right it is right. So, in my ears this plug goes in the right direction.

What i miss is the real fully overall stereo enhancer result.

Yeah, im searching for the original fm radio stereo effect.

Using Optimod or something on your own mixes - why not? For my ears it sounds better.

It's understood, you can flatten-up your master to zero-dynamics with this, but, first of all, it's an incredible ((almost) FREE) tool for sounddesign which is very appreciated, imho.

However, it would be nice to handle the plug with a much user friendlier UI.

And like it is wit da real broadcast machines it is necessary to adjust the parameters correctly.

Uh-Oh!
This is a dangerous plugin - I can allready see myself flattening the shit out of some mixes.
Sounds good though, need to find out how to handle it properly with a multi-parameter non-customized UI like that.

mastering is a tricky thing. a lot of times, i wish i could release two versions of recordings:

a super dynanamic set for headphone listeners like myself who miss the days of truly dynamic music, and a "car mix" with everything pretty much flat.

i can usually get my songs within a 4-6 DB range just by proper enveloping and that avoids the "stomping" pretty well. it just takes a lot of envelope work.
