Yes Attila, I also have to say I'm loving your program Every day. It's brought music back into my life and for that I'm eternally grateful!

Of course things aren't flawless, but that's the price of playing with cutting-edge new creative tools. More than worth it, I spend about 10x as much time in RC than in Cubase and enjoy RC more. I hope you will consider our feedback as a sign of commitment to your project, and not as complaining

Hi Attila new features are good, but sorry to remember, the all other have feature but RC miss as stand in your list at top
"Improved phrase editor with timeline and playback position"
i really like. at least a play cursor for playback position. is this so much work to program ?.

I did not forget about that, I will start working on it after v3.1 in about 2 weeks.
Yes, it is bigger work, at least a week.

Generating phrases based on the analysis of a group of phrases from Folder!
This makes it possible to generate the phrase "my style"!

yes, style analysis will be part of RapidComposer in the (not so near) future.
This is an area which interests me very much!
But let's concentrate on current tasks

v3.1 is shaping well, there are some minor improvements and bug fixes left before the release.

New beta update, v3.1b15 is available!

3.1Beta15 changes:

Midi Import improvements: phrase detection: the midi events are automatically grouped into phrases. Similar or same note groups are recognized. Configuration settings can be found under Settings / Miscellaneous
Midi Import improvements: improved "Import MIDI Into Current Composition". Now the imported composition does not have to have the same harmonic structure, it is analysed and will use the composition chords
Midi Import improvements: better instrument selection. Fixed GM soundfont menu.
Improvement: Melody Generator notes are converted to chord note+scale step to make it more usable under different chords (except when "Scale Notes Only" is chosen)
[VST] When enabling 'Use Host Tempo' the RC VST plug-in will follow the host tempo changes
Fixed: dropping a rhythm pattern during editing a Melody Generator in the Idea Tool crashed
Fixed: track templates did not restore ghost phrases
Fixed: when a MIDI preset was dropped on a track, the channel changed
Fixed: Undo did not work after paste operations in the Phrase Editor, and other issues

Still crashes here, what was the key-combination for starting with unloaded last composition ? Did not need it for the last versions, so I just forget, and without being able to start RC....
