It makes no difference, if 32 or 64-bit.

It does when you have a 64-bit DAW without a bridge, or if you don't want to bridge plugins. I can only say that devs who still use SynthEdit should wake up, because it's 2016, and many people are indeed using 64-bit DAW's. With the next version of Cubase, you won't even be able to run 32-bit plugins anymore. SynthEdit or Flowstone are deader than dead. Time for devs to realize that. Especially when they charge for their stuff.

Bought it today.
I use Tube Ohm 32 bit VST's 10x more than any 64 but VST's I paid a lot more for.
Best VST money I have ever spent and used.

Just checed some patches in the demo, and they sound really good.

But you are right, it is gonna take a lot to improve on the emus already out there.

Good musicians does making music with all instruments - even with a comb...
And for sure - Synthedit isn´t dead and wont be - as long musicians using those plugs.....

It looks like a close emulation from the GUI - soundwise I have to compare,
but if not, this will be just another gem between his other good synths.....

I´ve said, it doesn´t make sense, what PC-system is in use by a good musician - if 32 or 64 bit.....

So, for example -
I´m using an old Crumar Multiman S nowadays... it was my first synth (ok, multikeyboard)
and bought in used, in 1986.... so should I throw it away and say,
`no the new Roland JXDA or some other sounds better; using TAL-Sampler or what´...
difficult then, if spare-parts are rare, when something get broken....

It´s your choice and everybody else, who´s using 64-bit and can´t use some 32-bit plugs anymore....
64-bit versions doesn´t sound better - see other discussions/threads.....

There are many synthedit-dev´s out there - and i hope, there would be more - the next years too....
GOOD musicians can use every instrument to make music - 32/64 bit; PC or MAC

It´s a private matter - but I hate people, who says 32-bit is stone age and synthedit/synthmaker
bad and ugly - that´s simply not true - and those people knows nothing....
Some years ago they´ve used these plugs every day and now all is bad,
only influenced by some sales promotion to get ever and ever the newest thing....

But to come back to the discussion and the bottom of the thread.....

I´ve tried the demo and the D106 has a very warm, powerful sound - very close to his
counterpart...... i like it and price is ok......
For sure, the ARP and 2nd Env/all of the 2nd page isn´t that original - so it´s a little bit "washy"......

What exactly does it matter? Noone claimed otherwise. Noone claimed that 64-bit "sounds better" either. I don't know where you read that from. Nonetheless i believe releasing a commercial synth 32-bit only in 2016 is a no-go. Unless you want to get rid of most clients.

I am more interested in the sound quality and usefulness of the instrument.
Am using or have more 32 bit versus 64 bit VST's.
Using Akai VIP and there is a lot more content in the 32 bit version versus 64.
I use all of Tube Ohm stuff and never crashed on this thing, and it is finicky.
Can not say the same about HGF stuff which work well but not perfect due to some noise crashes.
Older 32 bit like M42 do not work so I understand that aspect.
I wish HGF had not quit developing in 32 bit as he created a lot of fantastic instruments.

Well, 2 DAWs I use have native bridges so for me it's not a problem.
But maybe it really is a bad decision nowadays to release commercial 32-bit only plugin.
Friend of mine uses Studio One 3 and there is no bridging inside. He got rid of all 32b plugs...

I wish HGF had not quit developing in 32 bit as he created a lot of fantastic instruments.
