Basically a cutdown 'half-Octavox', or does it do something else that Octavox doesnt do? Cant see an obvious difference in the description pages.

Looks like that is exactly what it is, and no more. If it had any original features not in Octavox they'd probably highlight it.
The interface is basically Octavox with 4 channels instead of eight.

Hmm.. hold on, Octavox has an extra MIDI drop-down in the top-right corner, Quadravox has no such drop-down.

So, the difference between Octavox and Quadravox is

- Octavox is eight channels, Quadravox is four
- Octavox has Midi control, Quadravox does not

Cheers. Seems I can skip Quadrovox...

For those of us who don't have Octavox, is Quadravox worth owning?

I don't think you'd need it if you had the Octavox though.
So _you're_ the completist! :ud:

bharris22 - if you imagine you might enjoy making up to 4 part harmonies with a clever pitch detection system, you should probably try the demo ;) it's pretty damn good at doing what it says it does

if you want to throw midi at it (for the pitch shifting side), you'll need to look at Octavox

Question is if the missing midi-functions is essential, they was mentioned, but no discussion about what it was all about

Here is something:

Quadravox is now available for free: https://audioplugin.deals/quadravox-the ... -download/

Suprisingly, that's the only Eventide plugin I was ever interested in :P

There's a thread in the buy and sell forum started by Audio Plugin.
Yeah, I missed it, too!
Edit
That should be the sell and buy

Quadravox is a good plugin, I actually bought it a few months ago. No midi control as mentioned but you can set up some quick presets to switch. As a scale may not work for an entire verse. Sounds much better than waves doubler to me. Not as good as melodyne but I don't use it for that.

I use it for making guitar sound like fender rhodes

Yes, it's a fantastic effect. (Edit: 3 years too late. :hihi:)

where's my free plugin? I just spent twenty minutes registering new accounts with "AudioPluginDeals", Eventide and Pace, fully relinquishing my precious personal data to the marketing hounds, only to be informed that my my serial code is already in use? what gives? have I fallen victim to some kind of convoluted marketing scam?
