This isn't an improvement. This is a real BASIC NEED, and the lack of it is a big design failure, IMO.

:o Failure !!!! :o
This is the best synth ATM !!!! You can do everything!

Design failure, not sound/architecture failure.
Yes, You can do everything, it's just not as convenient as it may be.

And again, these hyperbolic statements don't help nor add anything... :scared:

Yes, you're supposed to patch the shit out of that thing, but you are not supposed to start from scratch each time you open it, or when you change host. This is software, not hardware.

Yes you are bro it's a modular :D Blank canvas to paint on, it gets faster and faster patching each time i open it plus I save the patches I like as fxp's.

It's better than paper and pencil, I presume, but still quite nerdy :hihi:

But Reaktor Blocks does have separate presets for ensembles (cases?) and individual patches. So it's hands-on and easy to manage, and is thus better.

Yes, it's a great sounding synth. I've been searching for a plugin with a Nord Lead/Modular G1 sound character, but still can't find a good one. Discovery didn't click with me. Softube Modular sounds different and better on certain part, but I found the character could be Nordish sometime and perfect for what I need right now.

As a sound designer, not having an internal browser is a pain in the ass. I've had a number of support issues because of this. There simply is no excuse for not having an internal patch management system...period.

i think they will not ignore our request and we will have a real preset manager in the next update.

Just got a confirmation from Softube that the long awaited Live 9/Win 10 problem will be fixed with the next update, which supposed to be ready soon. Hopefully it will also come with a new browser and some cool new modules.

So therefore you do use presets after all. FXP is only supported by some hosts - hence the need for preset management as a priority.

update released with x-fade and x-pan modules, and bug fixes.
(kinda of ridiculous its a 1.5 GB download on the mac, for 2 new modules... especially since they have a 'control centre' type application!)
