Oh, mono
I thought I heard a pad-like sound in the audio demo...
Maybe it's the mono sounds that make it sound pretty transparent and interesting, chords tend to get in each other's way.

It's not the size of your polyphony, but how you use it.Urs wrote:It's a mono synth...pdxindy wrote:wow... that is a cheap price!!Urs wrote: It can still happen, depending on a certain idea we had which we most certainly won't be able to deliver this year. I like simple and limitations, but mono would be too limiting even for me. I think 3 notes would be the absolute minimum for me.Numanoid wrote:With two oscillators no need for poly to make pad like soundsfluffy_little_something wrote:Oh, monoI thought I heard a pad-like sound in the audio demo....

Um... at that price it's very good... Feel like I'd be stealing from U-he.
$99 is unreal...

So, will the final thing be based on filter model 4? It seems to be the preferred one.

Load an instance of RePro Alpha in four different channels, and you can play 4 notes at any time

Completely reworked filter. Based on 3 - the least controversial onefluffy_little_something wrote:So, will the final thing be based on filter model 4? It seems to be the preferred one.

I suppose so. But I am not sure the result would be the same as I assume that with a polyphonic synth the notes played kind of interact in some way, or influence each other while being processed by a common module.Numanoid wrote:Do the old Oberheim 4 voice trick:fluffy_little_something wrote:I like simple and limitations, but mono would be too limiting even for me. Not really. Most synths are pretty linear after the individual voice VCAs.fluffy_little_something wrote:I suppose so. And it´s also more interesting to play those synth polyphonic when each voice is it´s own synth.
Means everything is polyphonic if you want. FX, Modulations....
That´s why i prefer software over hardware (beside controllers).

Sadly, but Moogs apps, Equator, some modulars are not. So please follow up....Urs wrote:Not really.
