Not in the real world maybe. This is KVR :hihi:

Us ambient guys gotta demo. And nothing really "wrong" with the video or demo sounds. With a lot of synths it's really about workflow. Even with a pretty unique synth like Razor, I can get near to some of those sounds with other synths, granular effects, reverbs, etc., but can't tweak / experiment, etc. the way I could having a synth designed to achieve those sounds.

If this synth achieves something similar I'm on board. :)

Okay, lesson learned. Although it's quite tempting too to try to come up with an even cheesier video for our next product.

So you are gonna ship another product quite soon too? :hyper:

Got some quite nice results out of Cascade during beta-testing. Give it a spin :)

Can't tell anything about that yet, except that it not will be soon as in 'somewhere in the next few months'. But there is a prototype. And with Klaus Voltmer (the creator of Cascade) as our new developer, there's a good chance you will see something else from us this year.

This synth quickly got forgotten ? :?

There's been virtually no press. Was hoping for an intro sale also. ;)

The intro sale lasted until September 1st:
Cascade is available is available for Windows and Mac (VST/AU/AAX/standalone) for the price of €179 (Europe) / $179 (worldwide). An introductory price of €99 / $99 is valid until September 1st, 2016.

A recent interview with Klaus Voltmer at MusicRadar:

Tried the demo. Wasn't impressed at all. And sorry, but I have to laugh again at that price they ask for it.

I saw this synth a while ago... I thought it sounded pretty decent. But it got quite a bit of negativity (on another forum) which kinda' put me off...

Seeing this thread again, I thought I'd take it for a demo. But seeing that I just missed the intro price (my bad), I'll save my cash for the Legend. I'm not paying 179 for it.

But to be fair, I think it deserves more credit.

I had missed this one. A nice idea for a synth but with fairly limited uses. So my second thought was "can't I just knock something like the cascade/diffusion section up in MPowerSynth?". Or do some lash up with MIDI control over a synth + Ubermod in an Ableton rack.
