I think all Reason modules have CV.....So huge chance (which ingo already confirmed) that the CV is there for RE approval/compatibility only.Cinebient wrote:I read the AU/VST manual but saw nothing about CV there. Does that mean this is only for the reason rack ext.?

I am no Reason or Rack Extension user so i could not really comment on the differnces and/or advantages in comparison to teh VST/AU plugin.
I did show that screenshot as this is alraedy officially avalable (opposing to the VST version) and shows the tweaking options for the sound and also the effects settings.
I'll give further comments when the VST/AU version is out.

The manual was for the VST/AU and there is nothing about it. So yes, CV inputs seems reason only.

For this type of synth i don't see any technical limit to why this would be any different or of less quality then VSTi version.aMUSEd wrote:Looks like the Re may be much more flexible but is the sound quality the same as the VSTi?
Don't use Reason anymore but i am glad Reason users are (finally) getting some really impressive and decent synths. Synapse and Rob Papen are killing it for Reason (imo).
Great times reason users

Did you design presets for it Ingo?Ingonator wrote: More comments from me when the VST/AU plugin is oficially released.
If so, I am looking forward to hearing them.

I wish someone of the synth developers would add sostenuto support (beside Spectrasonics...but just as modulation source).
I even don't see sustain (cc64) in the midi cc list of the manual?!?
Is pianoteq the only one in plug-in land?
It's a thing i can't understand (even as amateur hobbyist) that nearly all desktop plug-ins lack things for more expressive/versatile playing.
It's strange that a lot iOS apps are years beyond here.

First we would have to wait until it is officially released at the Synapse Audio website. At the moment only the RE version is available at the Propellerhead shop.Numanoid wrote:Can "educational" users get The Legend at $50 ?
Anyway here is the page about educational licenses including instructions how to get it:

As mentioned earlier in this thread the VST/AU page is a template and not final. So yes, it lists the specs for Dune 2 and not The Legend.Elektronisch wrote:is it only me or this does sound a bit more like a Dune 2?
