Thanks Neon Breath, fixed.
How about it Zynaptiq, are you taking me seriously now? I have it on good faith I'm moving in the right direction.

Oh, maybe
Once I finally had the resources, I took about a year digging in deep on several different instruments and tools to see what really works, see what I find myself actually using. Now I'm starting filter things out, sell off what I don't use, especially things that get in my way at all...things like licensing issues, Pro Tools garbage support of Native Instruments (and lack of ownership), iZotopes failure of just Ozone 7 (creative bundle is awesome) to properly install on both my Win 7 machines (and will not fix), cool but aging and no longer supported 32-bit VSTs, otherwise amazing DAWs that don't support a relatively universal instrument/FX system (looking at you Propellerhead), sloppy interface or preset import design (sorry discoDSP, Arturia), missing automation functionality (damnit Massive, you're amazing, why aren't Osc, Filter, and FX enable/disable automation supported like in Thor?!), jump through hoop installation, any number of other issues that actually do affect a wide variety of users who may or may not know that while there is no such thing as perfect, there are actually companies out there that either a) thought it through and understand or b) listen to customers and actually resolve issues.
We're musicians, creative people who want to focus on our work, not the distracting eyesores that get in the way, and yes, there are *hundreds* of companies developing instruments, effects, tools, etc. who get that and still maintain a secure product while enabling their user base seamlessly. No longer rocket science (not generally speaking anyway).
Anyway, I don't know of any other realistic way to have an impact - single emails to support don't usually warrant results, not at this level. If it tips a scale, I'm not the only one who wins - everybody does.

Problem solved.
Picked up Melda's MMorph, along with the DDMF Metaplugin. I'm now able to do VST3 audio morphing from within Renoise solidly, on each of my audio platforms as needed, no restrictions, zero being plagued with iLok issues that everyone seems to be suffering on a not infrequent basis, and zero having to deal with an unresponsive company on a fundamental issue.
I get it. I'm not your target audience, not enough gravy.
Done.

Fair enough, sorry for the noise. I am glad for those that are happily using Zynaptiq Morph. Someday I would love to try it out and see how it does in my workflow or find someone local that wouldn't mind showing it off.
It's incredible we even have these tools as alternatives to Kyma - a few of us had access to a fully loaded Kyma Capybara @ college for a while, but being able to incorporate a morph utility directly in the DAW is fantastic. Looking forward to more focus in this direction.

I know the OP wants a real-time solution, which would have an obvious example, but the CDP morphing tools can achieve amazing results. CDP is free and there are front-ends (otherwise it's command line hell), or if you're a Renoise user as I am, there is a CDP tool for Renoise that works great for the morphing stuff (just make sure all input files are the same sample rate/bit depth). Really great, you can get very clean, precise results or FSU type results depending on settings used. Some very weird, unique effects are possible when morphing pitched stuff with rhythmic, like a vocal pad into a drum break or whatever.
I have Morph and it's great, btw, just thought I'd mention this.

Any news on the release date for upcoming update to VST3?

Does morph stop using CPU when there's no audio being processed? It doesn't appear to in either of the hosts I use regularly. If not will the vst3 take advantage of this (which is part of the vst3 standard)? That would be handy.
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.

If zynaptiq morph would have the exactly same CPU saving system as PITCHMAP.Ah_Dziz wrote:Does morph stop using CPU when there's no audio being processed?
Then you would hear a pop/click every time the audio input signal goes to complete silence.

Any news on the VST3 version and the other upcoming effects plugin?

Hey guys,
sorry, somehow I didn't get notifications on this thread.
We're currently re-building all of our plugins with the latest GUI SDK version so all of them will get VST 3 support. WORMHOLE is in beta – we're taking some extra time to refine the CPU load on the pitch shifter, and adding some bells and whistles. I know it's annoying to wait for stuff but trust me, the wait will be worth it
We've built MORPH as VST 3 in-house, but we want to get rid of all quirks before releasing it; some hosts for example get muchos confused if a plugin has more inputs than outputs, and as a result do some weird routing (like both signals being fed into all inputs etc). Most likely we'll add some sort of "force dual mono" switch that explicitly tells the plugin that it should use L and R for A and B.
CDP is very cool indeed.
