Hello all. I am currently experiencing a bit of a problem that has me pulling my hair out, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am using FL Studio to record synth parts for metal music a friend and I are recording in Studio One, using an Mbox2. I now need to import those synth parts into Studio One, but just can't figure out how to do so.

The steps I'm following are:

1. Drag FL Studio VSTi (Multi) into a track in Studio One.

2. Open Fl Studio as the Slave DAW.

3. Open the Fl Studio file I wish to import into Studio One.

4. Press record for the track with the FL Studio VSTi

As you can see, nothing records. I can however hear the track being played as the cursor moves along.

Here is the mixer in Studio One:

If it helps, here are the audio setting in Studio One:

I have also tried the same process with FL Studio Rewire and Fl Studio VSTi, and with the same results. Strangely, now when I drag FL Studio Rewire into Studio One absolutely nothing happens!

Any idea what I'm doing wrong here? Thanks in advance.

I think there's some stuff on fl vsti, etc.

Yes, that's the video I followed, but no luck :/

I think you may need to change the output of the FL mixer to FL1; if you're using FL vsti multi-out, you should be able to expand the outputs in S1 and assign tracks in Fl mixer to FL1, FL2, etc.
