Yes, with advanced you get:

Individual Equalizer with Masking Meter
Individual Compressor
Individual Transient Shaper
Individual Exciter
Surround support up to 7.1

The first and the last one are especially interesting.
Neutron seems to be an update to Alloy2.
And as with Ozone and RX there's an advanced version for the post-production market.

As an update to Alloy the masking meter and the dynamic eq are nice additions. But Insight with Alloy2 was already a great way to detect frequency related problems.

-- while he's using Advanced, is he using Advanced-only features i.e. "Individual plugins [Advanced Only] available for the Equalizer, Compressor, Transient Shaper, and Exciter"?

-- If so, can one achieve similar effects using the DSP units with those which come with Standard, i.e. "5 built-in mix modules and limiter" ? Do those permit the collision-mitigation EQ-ing like we see in the video?

--again, what's the difference between the Standard version DSPs and their Advanced counterparts (apart form the fact, I think, that Standard excludes Surround) -- quality? Ease of use? Anything integral to Neutron's unique selling proposition?

Ah...maybe they are the same units, but the individual ones which come with Advanced can be use outside Neutron as their own VST?

This is likely correct. It's the same with Ozone and Ozone Advanced. You can use the modules from Ozone as vst's if you have Advanced.

It s pretty clear the DSP and the modules features are the same.

Does anyone knows if time and space store adds vat to costumers outside the EU?

It does not add VAT. You get pretty far in the buying process before it takes it out of the total, though.

I just found out that as a Nectar owner, I'm eligible to get Advanced for $149... shit, I'd sworn off GAS but this is just too tempting ... Ok, downloading the demo now

Well, this sucks ... trying to download the demo with either Chrome or Firefox causes each browser to warn me about an insecure connection and actually prevent me from downloading. Very unusual for me.

Don´t bother, the demo seems corrupted anyway. Gives several error messages during the install just to NOT have it installed eventually.
I have sent support some screenshots to make them aware of the issue.
