Others you would want to look into:
Plugin alliance's bx_megasingle and bx_megadual are very good, but you'd want to wait for a sale b/c the "regular" price is ludicrous.
Kazrog Thermionic Modern Classics I contains their Mesa dual rec which is also worth considering.

Another recommendation for the Brainworx megadual and/or megasingle - mighty ampsims indeed. But wait for a sale - I paid $29 and $19 respectively and am very pleased. Would never have paid even $49 for each of them let alone the ridiculous non-sale price.

cool! thanks for the suggestions. i'm looking for something that's pretty barebones. it looks like IK may be a little much for what i'm wanting to do.
i'm digging kazrog though!
what about Lecto?

S-gear has an amazing amp called the wayfarer that is a great emulation of a Mark IV/V. The clean section is very fenderish which is IMO better than the Mesa clean. S-gear can't do the recto sound though, so if that is what you want you might want to check out something else.

I agree the Plugin Alliance Mesa amps are my personal favorites.

In the future if you want more barebones, instead of getting the whole shebang like AmpliTube 4 Deluxe and adding the Mesa/Boogie models, you can install the free AmpliTube Custom Shop which gives you some great gear but allows you to add only what you want a la carte.

Yeah I like the PA Mesa, loving their new BlackDist and Metal pedals too. I also white like the emulation that comes with GTR.
