Is there a way or workaround to be able to do this? I do not want to use the mediabay in Cubase since I have my samples organized in a folder in Windows Explorer. I am on Cubase 5.

I don't know about Cubase 5 but in 8 you can drag and drop samples into the Pool from Windows Explorer and then drag them into Groove Agent ONE.
