of course your 8 normal OSCs can hold synthesized drums...
You can keymap them on the keyboard on the keyzone page

It might be nice in a future version to have the option of using the osc sources for one of the drum elements (that would also deselect it from going straight to its own output). That way it would retain complete compatibility with the rest of the drum engine.msvs wrote:of course your 8 normal OSCs can hold synthesized drums...

Far from a must have for me though. Btw, I too would be interested in hearing a little more focus on older analogue sounds at some point.

Maybe someone will have the *really* good idea to innovate and use Steam protection instead of iLok or e-licencer ?chk071 wrote:Oh, i didn't know that. I thought it was always limited to one soft eLicenser activation.noiseboyuk wrote:Indeed. I think elicenser is a given by the sounds of things, but some companies allow the use of the soft elicenser, and more than one activation. That way you can permanently have the product on a main rig and a laptop, without having to use a dongle.chk071 wrote:Two activations?
Steam is by far the most convenient and most reliable for the user in my experience. And probably for the editor as well. If it wasn't, millions of people wouldn't use it daily.

Steam offers no good protections for developers, it is very very easy to crack. No effort.lolilol1975 wrote:Maybe someone will have the *really* good idea to innovate and use Steam protection instead of iLok or e-licencer ?

Developers using Steam use often their own copy protection such as Denuvo and others on top of this Steam thinger.
So Steam like this is good only for marketing and distribution.
Prefer very much NOT having resource eaters like Steam on my DAW anyways, but such is only my opinion.

Please Manuel demonstrate that with the fantastic presets in the Sequence section by you and Andy and the others. I would have done that, but my mixing skills are really not good!msvs wrote:of course your 8 normal OSCs can hold synthesized drums...

I was blown away with this split. It made Avenger a ready 'Live' workstation! The quality of the sound? What can I say?! It is so clear and organic that let's you feel you are in mid 80's concert of your favourite synth band playing live on their hardware synths! (Maybe because this is my favourite music
There are some presets for EDM, wow! This synth began to make me like EDM (except dubstep of course)! I mean it is so enjoyable when you play with it (the aftertouch comes here very useful because of the split and both your hands are busy playing and can't reach the Mod wheel).
I should work in the marketing section
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

This is going to require eLicenser, isn't it? It actually looks really good. Shame I'll have to pass...

I don't understand the hangup with a usb elicence.. mine has been serving me well for 10years and its fine.. infact I I wish my Korg plugs could go back to e-liscenser.. less hassle! !!

Me too - then I wouldn't have had to reauthorise them all after replacing my system board.surreal wrote:I don't understand the hangup with a usb elicence.. mine has been serving me well for 10years and its fine.. infact I I wish my Korg plugs could go back to e-liscenser.. less hassle! !!

[OFFTOPIC]
Here's one for travellers: I simply taped to the back of my macbook's screen two self-adhesive velcro strips, which attach to a 4-port bus-powered ultra-slim usb hub (for dongles and memory sticks) - on one side and a tiny 2 TB Samsung T3 external SSD - on the other side (perfect symmetry, left & right of the apple logo) and called it a day. 1 external SSD, 2 USB dongles and still have one USB port free.
The soft side velcro is taped on the mac so is not causing issues when in the bag and wherever the mac goes so does my accessories bag. Never had any problems with this approach.

It makes no difference to me as long as the manufacturer can send you another licence if you have issues with the elicenser and can prove you own the license.

I'm using a desktop computer that is on 24/7. When not making music (I can take 2-3 weeks pauses), should I remove the dongle or let it plugin in all the time? I'm really afraid going the dongle route and losing all my licenses (and money) because of a dying dongle.
