Is anyone using this? Never heard of it and I accidentally stumbled over it myself (having Sonar atm) and am just flabberghasted. It's a wonderful little DAW, very, very clean Surface, tons of configurability with shortcuts and everything is very intuitive and quick. It doesn't try to display everything at once and hides its power sensibly behind good context menus (right click) .... I'm not sure how stable it is .. have to test more. But so far I absolutly love it for its lightweight, logical UI.

I second that - I was amazed when I was demoing it; and it was very stable, too (Win 7, tested on both 64 and 32 bit). Definitely on my wishlist.

I have been using it for a couple of years. I like how small it is, no giant downloads. It even runs from a USB stick, no installation as such.
It is not perfect, but hard to beat at that price point. Especially if you use the modular features, which I confess I rarely do.
On my W7 system it runs very stable, can't remember the last time it crashed.

Looks slick, could be great all-inclusive package. Is that the same company who made (Computer) Muzys?

Yes, I guess it also says so on the website somewhere. It is not a company as such, but a single programmer.

Hope it has improved since v5 ?

We're disappointed by MuLab 5's dated interface and limited featureset. MUX, however, is definitely worthy of attention...

Odd statement since Mulab has always contained the entire MUX afaik

It's wonderful DAW, I'm using it as sketchpad ATM, light on resources, good legacy support, works great/stable even on Linux via WINE, portable, MuX which is the heart of it is really something, guess price is right, have some minor feature request's for it, but when they come, it will rock for sure.

When I want to create, I go to Mulab. And I couldn't work without MuX, at all.

I have almost every DAW out there but for whatever reason never gave Mulab a thorough look. I bought it last week after loving the demo version and I'd have to agree. Its a deceptively powerful DAW with a nice clean interface and seems very quick with its smooth interface and lack of clutter. I could see myself being very productive using Mulab and It'll be fun seeing where it goes next.

Mulab is incredibly well thought out and beautifully crafted.
Absolutely worth a look if you haven't checked it out.

Additionally, the more people support it, the better it will get...

Yeah a lot of DAW's these days are so feature rich and with customers obsessed with having everything on one page they are starting to bloat themselves in a lot of cases.I feel like Mulab has the perfect mix of a refreshingly clean interface and the right amount of widely used features on one page. And all the while still being pretty customize-able.

Unlikely, about 50% of people are on Mac, this is Windows only.
