Tried the demo, not for me. Started putting it to the test, Reaktor, MPK controller...etc. it bugged out with a load of error messages and I had to close it from the services panel to get it to go away.

Seemed interesting though.

Reaktor user here. Not a single issue ever with all my NI synths and hundreds more.

Unlikely, about 50% of people are on Mac, this is Windows only.

Maybe your are confusing MuLab with the MUX.

We're currently working on a serious rewrite of MuLab for Mac. It's about dropping the use of the legacy Mac Carbon 32 bit framework, now making use of the OSX Cocoa framework and making MuLab for Mac a 64 bit app too. This operation will solve several issues wrt the outdated MuLab for Mac 32 bit Carbon version, which has been taken offline until the new MuLab 7.1 for Mac is released. Estimated release date for MuLab 7.1, which will also feature other improvements for all MuLab versions, is Friday 21 October 2016."

I have been using MuLab for Mac for almost 3 years and FYI test versions of the new 64-bit MuLab for Mac are in the MuTools forum. I find it quite stable for ancient and new VSTs with multiple tabs and pop-up windows.

So "It works on the Mac (Carbon)" and "It will work on the Mac (Cocoa)" means "It doesn't work on the Mac"? Sorry, I still don't follow.

Probably would have bought MUX ages ago but Addictive Drums crashed in it and the developer was dismissive of the issue. So with no help for one of my primary reasons for buying I never considered it or any Mu products. Might be time to give them a second chance.

Nah. I was using MuLab back when it was Luna and MU.LAB2 ('07-'09-ish) and Mux wasn't a thing then. I was forced to part ways with it at version 3 due to price and the fact that I (briefly) got along with energyXT and Podium a bit better before discovering how cpu-efficient REAPER was/is.
MuLab is still awesome. I really wish REAPER was as clean and as to-the-point or that MuLab was as cpu-efficient as REAPER (and as cheap).
And how super-cool and responsive Jo is certainly is a boon to the program and for the users.

No it doesn't work on Mac, a test version is not a working version, you really don't know the difference between test version and release ?
Hopefully the test version will be fully released and then the developer can make MUX mac too

I keep trying it every now and then but I still don't like the way automation is drawn or the fact that the draw tool (not just for automation but even in oscs) seems to default to straight lines. It's very clumsy to use.
