Looking for advice for a mixer or Audio Interfaces to use with my PC
I made the mistake in buying a Audio Technica AT2020 USB a while back ,
it picks up WAY TOO much background noise.

So I’m getting a Sennheiser e935 - Dynamic Mic as my replacement mike
I’m using Windows 7 and Abeltone Live
Budget around $200

mainly use it for youtube and live streaming

-Number 1 focus is there is no hissing or static noise because of the device ,
-USB 2.0 min i have usb 3.0 if the device it has that option
-Gain control: sounds obvious i know
-Only need two microphone XLR inputs no point paying for more
Since i have Abeltone Live i don’t need too many extra controls but if someone has a Very good quality mixer, i might invest to also reduce work load on the computer

I guess I'd be looking at something like a Steinberg UR22mkII.

Yeah, go for an audio interface. At your budget, any mixer will be pretty low quality.

I'm wondering however if a dynamic mic is really going to fix your problem. Unlike live performance, when recording, you want the mic to be as sensitive as possible to pick up the full range of sound. Dynamic mics have limited sensitivity and reduced frequency response which generally do not make them the best choice for recording.

Why not just fix your recording environment instead and stick with the more sensitive mic?
