Anyone using Transfuser 2.0?

VST, AU, AAX, CLAP, etc. Plugin Virtual Instruments Discussion

Post

I just stumbled onto this wicked plugin. Looks great but there's barely any talk of it on the web and very little videos on YouTube. This makes me think it's possibly crap?

It's AAX only and I was thinking of buying Pro Tools just to use it. Big chance I'm taking there. :scared:

The KVR product page hasn't been updated in years...

Did this plugin fly under the radar?

A VST version of Transfuser is on the way with the other AIR instruments, but I don't think they've set a date for when it will be available.

Musician Friend has it (Digidesign Transfuser Virtual Instrument Software) for $49.
I wonder about the upgrade route?

The MF sale is on Transfuser, not the 2.0 version. You can upgrade from 2 to the new bundle, but I do not see an upgrade path from just the 1.0 version.

There is now a Demo of it here, that can run 15 days. need an ilock. I have test it, and i can say it sound good and can do good things with the slicer. sounds for symphonic metal or epic are in too. But the transpose work not good. thats important. when use slice player there is no formant correction possible. it sound soon as mickey mouse. there is elastique, or even sample tank time stretch far more better and this can transpose +/- 5 tones in ok quality on choir or distortet guitar too, but can also transpose good more. with transfuser i only can transpose +/- 2 tones that sound ok.

there is a good chord creater module in transfuser, can create chords with single key press, and let create a pattern for bass note, 1. note last note. if use analog synth module in transfuser, can create nice pads. but here it is good, when it is possible that chord creater plugin can output to Midi. all sequencer that are in, can not output to midi. most important is that transpose code get better. maybe if you want make techno, this is not important, at least there is a demo so can try out

Do you know if this one has midi out? I'd like to use this to drive some other softsynths.
