Thanks, Parawave!

Copying and pasting modulators and saving them as presets is terrific :tu: Copying layers is also a useful feature. I'm not sure how much I would be using layers when making sounds for actual tracks, but if all the layers can obey the same macro, why not (e.g., assgining all filters from all layers to the same macro).

Meanwhile, C/P the oscillator settings within one layer would also be useful (e.g from osc 1 to osc 2).
parawave wrote: decimate/ratecrush: You mean as oscillator insert-fx or the insert that comes after the filter?
Why not in both places? ;) But i mostly thought about the post-filter insert, e.g., for "ringing" trance plucks or similar.
parawave wrote: Vowel filter: It's a very broad term. There is a bit of vowel in the talker-fx. Can you futher specify the desired sound, maybe a SoundCloud example?
I'll look further into that talker. Can it smoothly switch the formants on the fly, or can the formants be assigned to LFO/stepper or velocity, so that the synth could talk like "o-i-u-e".

If you don't mind some psytrance, here is the Virus TI vowel filter in action, e.g., at 2:05 and 6:11

You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

I knew I wanted it after like 5 :P but yeah seriously, I see your point.

20 min is too short indeed. Another thing, I understand why saving custom presets in the demo is disabled, but would it be possible to disable loading them instead? I mean, when you have a demo you would be able to SAVE your presets, but you could LOAD them again only after you buy the synth.

I've made a bunch of nice patches when testing the demo yesterday, but they are now gone forever. Maybe I would be more motivated to buy Rapid if I could access these sounds again after that.

Made a quick patch. Put it into the C:\ProgramData\Parawave\Rapid Demo\Sound Presets\Demo folder.

Btw, some nice psytrance you have there.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

+1
demo version of The Legend is just doing this.

Take screenshots of the GUI, up to 113 per patch to cover all panels ^^

Thanks! :) Will test the patch later today

When can we hope for a mac version?

Also, a larger presets on parade video would be nice. :)

Even though it is a demo, couldn't you save the song/project in your DAW, so then when you load that project back up after buying, the presets would (hopefully) be there?

Nope, because after the 20 minutes the plugin disables itself. There is no way to get back into it. So you have to unload it and then reload it. On reload, everything is gone.

Also, given how many things are disabled in the demo and there is no way to enter in a serial number, it appears the full version is a different DLL altogether. Hopefully, the developer can confirm this.

I haven't come across any plugin so far, where the DAW's own patch manager was able to save and load patches in demo versions where saving/loading is disabled. Usually I get some init patch upon loading.

Well, I just purchased and I am downloading now.

Warning. I have about the fastest download speed that you can have in the United States and I pay a lot of money for it. 2 gigs is going to take me over an hour to download. That is insane. So be warned. It's a slow server and if you have a slow speed connection, leave a lot of time for downloading the factory sounds.

And I thought the demo version was big 8)

What is your download speed in the US? Here they are offering 1Gbps now, so 2 gigs would take like a quarter of a minute or so, right? :hihi:
But what is that crazy speed good for when servers can't keep up...

According to my speed, I should be able to download in about 2 minutes. Even bwith 100% overhead, it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.

Well, in view of that size, that synth has died for me, anyway. I can't download such a huge file. It would probably get compromised in the process, anyway.
