just curious. if any of the features eg. arp will appear in nexus? i have not checked the recent version so not sure if this is in but pattern shift seems very handy.

even more curious: will Nexus ever get a bigger hires interface?bronxsound wrote:just curious. if any of the features eg. arp will appear in nexus? i have not checked the recent version so not sure if this is in but pattern shift seems very handy.

Quick drum question I didn't see elsewhere:
Can you route different drum channels (kick, snare, hat etc) to different plugin outputs so you can use separate DAW plugins on separate drums?

Video was clear showing the use of individual Arps per Osc.
It wasnt clear how to use a single arp with a multi Osc sound. Is this the default until the user assigns an Osc to a new Arp.

100hz ist fast as hell. Except you want to do FM/AM... but for FM/AM we have a real FM section with faster rates
I am not sure, if I understood you correctly. But of course you can create a Bass sound with 3 OSCs, and then route all 3 OSCs into ARP1 for exampleIt wasnt clear how to use a single arp with a multi Osc sound. Is this the default until the user assigns an Osc to a new Arp.

100Hz is still slow. Could i use an osc as modulation source?msvs wrote:100hz ist fast as hell. Except you want to do FM/AM... but for FM/AM we have a real FM section with faster rates![]()

And how slow can LFO's are running.
I like my LFO's from 0.001Hz to 1Khz

Getting over the fact that LFO stands from Low Frequency Oscillator and 1 KHz pretty much defeats the definition, what synths do you know are having such rates? I don't remember any going over 250 Hz...Cinebient wrote: I like my LFO's from 0.001Hz to 1Khz

Well, Bazille can go into audible range.sircuit wrote:Getting over the fact that LFO stands from Low Frequency Oscillator and 1 KHz pretty much defeats the definition, what synths do you know are having such rates? 1Khz might be dramatized. But Virsyn synths LFO's can go over 700 Hz f.e.sircuit wrote:Getting over the fact that LFO stands from Low Frequency Oscillator and 1 KHz pretty much defeats the definition, what synths do you know are having such rates? The interesting thing for me is also modulating the speed between such a wide range.

The way i understood it, everything above, say, 30 Hz, is within the audible range?wagtunes wrote:Well, Bazille can go into audible range.sircuit wrote:Getting over the fact that LFO stands from Low Frequency Oscillator and 1 KHz pretty much defeats the definition, what synths do you know are having such rates? Actually, i don't see much of a use either with such extremely high LFO rates. 250 Hz is plenty AFAIC.

Higher rates are definitely needed if you want to start producing extra harmonic content that can be keytracked. You actually need a lot more than 250 Hz.
Having said that.. there's not point in having a bad sounding extremely fast LFO, as is the case in quite a few synths. If it all turns into mush, aliasing and white noise then what's the point? If it's awesome sounding and done right (bazille/ACE/Diva) then why not?

Audible range starts at over 20 Hz so any synth's LFO goes into the audible range.wagtunes wrote:Well, Bazille can go into audible range.
So you don't have a synth who's LFO can actually go to 1K and at the moment you are just speculating what you "might" do with such a high modulation rate, that is, without any guarantee that what you think you can achieve is actually achievable in reality. Just read a thing or two about FM, there you have no 1K limitCinebient wrote:1Khz might be dramatized. But Virsyn synths LFO's can go over 700 Hz f.e.
