No official announcement heard from Garritan or Plogue, strange.
Do you know about this, PLJones?
Hello kinwie,

i don't know PLJones. I just created an account at Garritan back then and stumbled over the Aria player in the download section. The install was without any copy protection: I don't know how it can be possible to download and install when they don't want it? i also used their free Aria Engine sounds vol.1 to try out.

Hi mladi,
So there is no registration needed? Quite confusing.
But would love to hear more clear things about this to avoid any mistakes

Yep, that is also in my interest. I contacted them and will report back! Thank you for pointing out! :tu:

Sforzando works fine for me, but I'm missing a multi-out option, TBH.

Is there an SFZ sampler that has this option (Aria player has this, but you can only get it if you buy something like Garritan, right)?
You could try:
https://tal-software.com/products/tal-sampler
http://www.discodsp.com/bliss/

Both are great products.

Multi out: https://onesmallclue.com/plugin/poise/

Good luck

Cool, will love to hear about it, thanks!

I just got the response from Garritan support:

"Hello,

The ARIA Player is a free software you can use the to play SFZ files.
It's intent is for Garritan, but if you have SFZ files you'd like to use instead, feel free.
However, we can openly provide technical support for Garritan Libraries.

Best,
Nick

Thanks for the confirmation, mladi!
Now I can re-make a multi-out version of my Analogue Drums library, yeah!

Hmm...
before I just on it I would like to see David from Plogue's response....

(If it's really free it's amazing of course)

Would be great to hear from the creator himself of course!
Someone should notify him

sforzando import Sf2 files and converts them to SFZ

Zampler (free) can import those SFZ files
and now u get editing possibilities (knobs and slider instead of TXT ) there is a filter and Modulation options
If your plugin is a Synth-edit/synth-maker creation, Say So.
If not Make a Mac version of your Plugins Please.

Zampler has a very poor SFZ support (can only read 10 opcodes) so it won't play correctly most SFZ files, especially drum sets with lots of groups, round robins etc.

Hi realmarco!

The OP asked for multi-out, does zampler have this feature? I remember no.

No.

Btw,

Does Anyone know about this opcode : note_selfmask
I see it at the sfzformat.com site, as sfz v2 opcode and not yet recognized by ARIA engine.
Probably only supported by Cakewalk engine?
And from the opcode name, I suspect it something that can provide a note's self-choking?
It could a useful feature for drum/percussion type sounds
