The insane NI/Sample Logic offer: €499 library bundle

€499 for a bundle with Morphestra 2, Cinematic Guitars, Arpology, Bohemian, Xoshpere and Cinematic keys.
Any takers? Looks like a rather formidable deal to me, but I've never owned a Sample logic library. Demos sound absolutely great. I wonder if some of this stuff will overlap Omnisphere 2 too much (I have that already).

PS: I don't actually need it I just love buying stuff!

Great libraries but usually priced so high… havent seen them this low since they sold havoc on vstbuzz awhile ago...they sold a number of discontinued libraries for 99 awhile ago so this is even cheaper. Their new interface is expecially good.

Have the GUI of these libs been updated for use with Kontakt 5.6 ?

If not they appear tiny on hi-res screens, and hinders the hands on experience

I already owned 2 of the products from the bundle. I contacted Sample Logic and they offered me a discount for the remaining products of the bundle, so I decided to buy it.

It's a fantastic bundle, very high quality stuff from all those libraries. Morphestra 2 is usually at the price of the bundle, so it's like getting 5 extra libraries for the price.

My favorite from the bundle is Morphestra 2. A lot of stuff and endless combinations are possible.

If you want to get an idea of those libraries, you can check out the video reviews from those libraries on different websites with extensive playthrough of a lot of patches.

For all the people here that complains all the time that their stuff is overpriced, this time it's hard to argue that this is a very good deal.

Arpology: can anyone tell me about the actual sounds? I like the general idea, but I'm synth-centric - does it offer much in the way of 'electronic' sounds, or is it mostly pseudo-acoustic cinematic-type sounds? To rephrase, is it of much use in a dance-oriented way or more slanted to soundtrack work?

I agree with masterhiggins, Gamelan would have sweetened the deal a lot for me. Morphestra 2 makes the bundle still tempting though.

I have a 23 inch monitor, and the resolution is fine.

By the way, this is not the full Cinematic Guitars, but the expansion which is more geared towards ambiences, as is Xosphere.

Arpology is all kind of sounds arpeggiated coming from their different libraries.

I have Gamelan, but if you have the other libraries from the bundle (Morphestra 2, Cinematic Keys and Bohemian), you will have excellent replacements.

I decided to go for this bundle and I've been downloading and installing all day!
I tried a few Morphestra 2 patches and while they sound stunning, it seems they're mostly geared towards film composers. That said, they are perfect for that. I have to dig further into to this plugin obviously, but so far Bohemian is the one impressing me the most. The sound quality is beautiful and so are the around 10 patches I've been playing around with so far. So musical and utterly inspiring!

There's no doubt we're talking about some amazing sound libraries here and even though I haven't tried the remaining four ones in the bundle yet. I'm more than content with my purchase

Sample Logic libraries have a particular type of sound, in a way that can be compared to Heavyocity. If you like the Heavyocity sound, you will find similar stuff across their libraries, while each library has it's own flavor. The same could be said from Sample Logic.

Since I bought them yesterday, I haven't been digging much yet. If fact I stil haven't had time to download half of the libraries yet Will do later today though.
However, out of the very few patches I've tried from Morphestra (no multis yet and and mostly from the "atmospheres" category - I like to go through one category at the time), there are some similarities but that is to be expected. This stuff is ready made for a horror movie
Since the Arpology's main feature is the arpeggiator, I suppose you can do a lot more with it than the arp in Morphestra, but I have no idea yet . Same goes for Xsphere since it's one of the libraries I still need to download.
One major bug in Morphestra (at least to me) is the installation process. I can't get Morphestra Generations working probably. I expected it to be at part of M2 when adding that to Kontakt but apparently it doesn't show up. I cannot use it in quickload either. It shows up in the Kontakt viewfinder but I have to manually search for the samples everytime I load up a new patch. Extremely annoying!
