I stumbled upon a great and dynamic percussion sound the other day... happy accident... I'll see if I can render a quick demo in the afternoon. It shows nicely how Velocity can be used to compensate for lack of hand-on knobs.

That sounds glorious! It sounds so 'alive', like a proper instrument. Lovely filter. I'd love to hear more.david.beholder wrote:Oh yeah. We want more!kmonkey wrote:Give us some more demos like this while you torture us with development - pweease

I've not heard anything like this before... It's unreal! There's going to be a shedload of very happy pro DnB artists when this beastie is released.malachy5 wrote:That sounds glorious! Hey Urs, I haven't checked in on this project since you started the thread. That demo is excellent. The sound u-he is achieving is pretty incredible. Really interested to see the final version of this...and how your efforts will translate into future synths. I'll have to buy a hat just so I can tip it towards you.malachy5 wrote:That sounds glorious! It sounds so 'alive', like a proper instrument. Lovely filter. I think one of the things that drew me to software synths like Zebra the most was how amazingly expressive you could get with them just using a good MIDI keyboard. It reminded me of my TS-10, that was kind of lacking in many tonal centric ways, but made up for it with polyaftertouch and great effects. When you get the tone and expression together... magic.

All Repro-1 except gentle limiting on master.
The reverb is called "Drench" for a reason

Wouldn't you sell it in 3 months and instead of learning it iside outzerocrossing wrote:

I mean, when great sounding analog synths start at $500, I can't help but think, "I don't have a hardware version of Zebra." It would be "UNPOSSIBLE," to quote Ralph Wiggum.
GET DARK ZEBRA, LEARN HOW TO PROGRAM IT, ENJOY
