First, I want you all to thank these three KVR members: U-o, szalonykp and FLAndi. They have been busy contacting many companies from which we now got donations and without their amazing help, we would not have the great amount of donations as we have this year! Thanks.

All bids are now up-to-date. Here are five new companies contributing with donations:
  • FabFilter
  • Cockos Reaper
  • Plogue
  • Sonic Academy
  • Applied Acoustics Systems
Remember EnGee is organizing the 2nd hand area - here you can bid on "used" plugins and there's some really great stuff listed. If you want to take it further, you can donate your old licenses to the cause too. http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 3&t=470870

Again, thanks for the excellent work, to all involved, and of course especially to the thread starter, the almighty Luftrum, the gifted patch designer 8)

I´m curious as to whether the "outbid"-logic has been modified this time, though, as I bid $5 for a license of "Antisample Cinematic Grand" (it was placed for #1 apparently), and even though there are still 3 licenses without bids, my bid has been topped by a $6 bid, and I am already "gone".

It's a pleasure for me to help you at least with contacting developers. Still waiting for few replies.

BTW: I have a question about bids and winners.
Example:

Wusik 8000 #1. High bidder: Abstracto $5
Wusik 8000 #2. High bidder: xy $5
Wusik 8000 #3. High bidder: yx $5
Wusik 8000 #4. High bidder: xz $5
Wusik 8000 #5. High bidder: zx $5

Last day member XYZ offers 6$ for one licence. Which members with the same offer get the last 4 licences?

... and also...

There are 3 same products. I offered 30$ as first, later someone else made the same bid and I was eliminated and he/she is on the list. Why?

----------

Hope you understand me.

ANA + ANA Ultimate Presets Bundle #2. High bidder: U-o $20

The obvious answer for the first point would be that the last bidder to bid $5 would be the one to loose. I think that is the most fair, and the only way I can think of to keep them apart.

For the second point I don't know but my guess is that Luftrum simply made a mistake. Luftrum is updating manually by going thru every post. It's easy to overlook something. That's why I would say that page 1 is more for reference than anything, but the actual bidding in the thread is the one that counts in the end of the day. If there is something you really want then you better keep yourself updated by going thru every post in the thread to see if anyone bid higher than you :)

Later when the last day of the auction is over and there is a higher bid in the thread than on page 1, the higher bid will win. Fair and square.

Let me show you how you should do it:

Premier Collection #2: $40
Corona license #5
Wrong. Highest bid replaces lowest bid. Is that too hard?
