Results are, well, strange and somewhat disappointing (CymaticCreation’s track is not 1st and not even in the first five? Really?). But that’s probably an expected result given that we’re judging each other without having a panel of independent judges and with no even clear judging criteria (for example, the most important thing for me is music/melody, while others can place main emphasis on sound design and/or mixing).

But hey, there is a benefit for all of us anyway: each of us has composed a new track. For me personally that was the first new track since 2014, and the track is quite in line with the type of music I like to compose (and what I call music in general), just with one-synth limitation that I certainly plan to overcome soon by creating its improved and extended version using full stack of multiple synths, drum samples and effects, so I’m quite happy anyway.

Thanks to all for your attention, votes and comments. And congrats to the winners, of course.

Yes, well, happens this way all the time. The strange thing is that you didn't say Guenon's track should have swept first by a large margin.

But seriously, personal taste tends to play a big role in the voting, for better or worse (we're all human, so not necessarily bad, just expected).

Anyway, congrats Taron for another W under your belt. Congrats the rest of you all for participating, because, as was said, that's what it's really about - challenging yourself and completing something. And special shout out to Guenon for a special track in my opinion, which should have swept first place.

And secondary shout out to Orboscope / Halcion, for one of your best tracks to date. Just gotta get that mix right, and your stuff will shine like a diamond.

I'm not sure why the withdrawn track is still in the spreadsheet. It was gone from soundcloud and no one could listen to it past that time, but we had to score it to finish, so the scores are meaningless.

I wha...?

Man, you have no idea how puzzled I am right now, really happy, but really puzzled, too. Guenon, CymaticCreation and Slava (sfiks) did some outstanding masterpieces this time, which I will most certainly listen to again and you might not understand what a rare thing that is. So...I agree with zprime on that, too.
BUT you won't see me complain, uhm, nah! It's not the winning itself, of course, but it is how you give my most natural, musical self validation that I completely did not expect. And, once again, the joy that goes into a track, gives it its soul. And, man, did I love it.

Anyhow,

to the winners

and really everyone, who has managed to make a proper TyrellN6 track, because they'll always sound like quality tracks as almost all of yours do!

Many of you did some of the best tracks I've heard you do, yet. There is some magic in this synth for sure!
