Button wouldn't work for me until I disabled Ublock Origin ad-blocking add-on in Firefox. If you have that, try disabling it temporarily and refresh the page (then click the button again of course).

Professional technicians are assessed by the abilities they possess.
Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.

That's what I've heard, but, I've also heard that it's not very good on drums.soulone82 wrote:But it was killer on vocals, right?Tp3 wrote:I agree.bronxsound wrote:it was sh!te on drums though.nicksohn wrote: It is a killer compressor for vocal track.

Optimal number of audio plugins is one more than you currently have.

I've been using this and the Waves version (my preferred emu) for years on vocals and bass. I'm pretty surprised to see some comments that they can't hear the difference or that it's subtle. It's anything but transparent, and it's the first thing I reach for to get in-yer-face vocals.
edit: wow, the cough syrup must have me pretty messed up. I just went to compare the Waves and CW versions and realized that I must have been thinking of the NI/Softube VC2A, not the Cakewalk LA-2A, which I apparently don't have...yet.

just used it quickly in a ducking sidechain, ala pslytwance helicopter bassline and it's useable.
obviously not a lot of Macs at Cakewalk, the trackpad tracking scale is mega out of wack, and in reverse.
no VST version?? only AU and VST3 i'm assuming?
yeah def not transparent, but it seems to have a nice sound.
Cheers CakeRoll and

Why the need for that executable just to install a plugin ?
I have well over 200 plugins installed on that system including some from Cakewalk and Sonar X3. I've never seen this warning pop up before.

Just a false positive. Might be related to just a particular version of Bitdefender signatures.Teksonik wrote:Why the need for that executable just to install a plugin ?
