OK, I used some pretty primitive tools: Windows Media Player and a calculator.
The meter:
Just played the clip and counting bars, at around 1:53.5 it was 64 bars. Each bar containing 3 quarter notes (actually six eights where a quarter should be three eights)
64 bars x 3 quarters = 192 beats.
1:53.5 = 113.5 seconds.
So 192 beats in 113.5 seconds is 192 beats in (113.5 / 60 = ) 1.891666 minutes is (192 / 1.891666 = ) 101.5 beats in a minute.
No idea whether the drummer played with a click track. If not, then tempo could fluctuate a bit. Also around the 1:58 mark he seems to make a mistake and the snare hits not the even but the odd counts from there on.
A slightly more advanced tool is this: http://www.bertkoor.nl/MusicCalc.html (shameless self promotion)
In the Long Sample Calculator fill in:
One Bar: 3 * 1/4
Beats: 192
Time: 113.5
Calculated BPM = 101.49
Since the displayed time in MediaPlayer is not that exact, the length is somewhere inbetween 113 and 114 seconds. Calculated back to BPM's that's somewhere inbetween 101.05 and 101.95 BPM. So 101.5 should be about right.
If Cubase doesn't do decimals, you can't get it exactly right. Maybe alternate bars between 101 and 102, maybe stretch the audio slightly...

I just came back to Cubase after some years away from it, but I'm pretty sure Cubase itself can detect the tempo of the audio and even create a click track based on that pretty easily. Maybe do a couple of Google searches to see?

What I did was created a loop on the first beat at 6/8. I used that as a "click track" if you will and the drummer tried to stay in sync but around bar 24 it went out of sync.
It doesn't look like you can really use that loop to do any syncing.
