Comments on Korg electribe series grooveboxes?

for this type of thing go with the Yamahas. AN200, and ... DX200? I can't remember what it's called right now, but they are a lot better for same money basically. This is in my opinion though, so not fact.

Record the MIDI - yes. Different MIDI channels no - on teh ER-1 at least (unless you re-route the midi - e.g. energyXTMarkM wrote:Can the EM or ER send out mulitple tracks on differing MIDI channel numbers and trigger external synth Modules? Another point re: using the ER-1 audio-in as an effects unit - not recommended. I haven't been able to get acceptable sound quality from audio routed through it.
I'd save my pennies and pick up a cheap command station on e-bay. Soooo much more.....
