When ever I select Master in my mixer. It adds reverb to everything. Also when I click on an individual sound in the mixer, it adds reverb to that sound as well. Finally, when I save the track as mp3 file, everything has a ton of reverb and it sounds terrible. If anyone knows how to fix this problem please help. Thanks. Btw I use Fl studio 12

why dont you edit the title of your thread so it says FL12, I think you will get more responses. However I am somewhat familiar with FL so I can suggest that perhaps you have put the reverb in the master slot. By default the mixer opens with the master highlighted and all the fx slots are the master. If you select the track the slots for fx will change and the reverb should be added individually to whatever sounds you want there. If you want a group of sounds going to one reverb I'm sure there is a sub mix option but tbh it's been a while for me since going that deep into FL so perhaps someone else can pick it from here

Sounds to me that you have a reverb plugin on the current (C) mixer track.

If there is not a reverb loaded, is there a limiter at the end of your chain? FL has one that is turned on by default. It might be affecting what you are hearing. Also, if you are using the same synth or sample library to test things out it may have reverb turned on by default or it can be baked into the sample. If you are using the factory samples some of them can also sound phasey.

Look at the mixer track at the very right of the list, after the sends, if you have a reverb on it, that's the problem.
