I have it and it's not that bad, especially with Apple Pencil....but it doesn't support AUv3 so I don't really use it.

For me it's one of the best sounding synth. For brass and lead sounds it's the best for me (not so for pads).
I just wish i had not to use it on iOS. So much wasted. I still hope Apple let me someday use just my iOS apps on my mac.
I know Moog seems not to make their apps as plug-ins anytime soon for some reasons...but that annoys the crap out of me

Since i found the Pulsar 900 plug-in i don't need Model 15 as plug-in anymore. It is Model 15 on steroids (and the moduls looks the same...they are the same plus more).

Finally updated Air 2
This thing is pretty outstanding.
Now I want to get my hands on the real deal. Just like Animoog being worth it.
I have several modular apps, but none sound this good.

At $14.99, could not resist. Sounds great - time will tell if I can handle the scrolling.

So, i played a lot with the Moog Model 15 and compared the same settings, patches and filter behavier to the Pulsar Modular P900 software (which have mainly the same modules + some more and you can have as many outputs on each module you like).
I noticed that the Model 15 app 904-A filter lacks a lot in the lower end with high resonance but seems to get a bit higher resonances in general (not sure which of them is closer to the hardware in this behavier, both seems to sound very different at audio rate modulations too).
So it´s a bit harder to get good low end drum sounds out of it. Percussions works fine.
Also i noticed that the LFO switch of the 921-B OSC´s still is connected to the 921-A OSC driver.
Shouldn´t it be running with a fixed Hz and the speed just controllable via the 921-B itself and not bound to the pitch you play anymore?
At least that´s what the P900 does and also what i read in old manuals about the original Model 15.
Is this a bug or feature?
I find it not useful as "LFO" this way.
However, still a great sounding little modular on a freaking smartphone!

In general I have to say I like it. I'm using an iPad Pro 12.9 which makes its nice to see things. However if I had one major gripe it would have to do with the cable connection method. I had loaded a rather complex patch to see how it worked. The problem is if you swipe the screen and inadvertently touch a connection with one finger it will undo the connection...and there is no undo.
It would be nice if you had to select connections for 1 or 2 seconds before making changes. Or at least provide an undo...
One other thing...with complicated patches it can get rather difficult to see labels and such under the wires...would be nice if you move them or substantially dim them.

FYI the top bar of the Model 15 app has Undo and a Redo buttons that even work across loading of presets.
... and if you double-tap with two fingers you can toggle the cables between being transparent or not.

For me this and Animoog are simply the best synths for the iPad, and can compete with the most respected AU/VST!

I hope this won't be seen as a thread hijack, but for anyone following this that doesn't own an iPhone or iPad, and would still like to experiment with a vst modeled after the Moog 15, I took a stab at creating an emulation with Synthmaker. The sound quality won't be anywhere near a real Moog, P900, Animoog or any u-he synth, but it's absolutely FREE and can still offer a taste of what the resources and patching on a Moog 15 is like to some degree - strictly for fun.
The patching is by drop-downs at each input jack and the 'jacks' double as input attenuators, saving on mixer/attenuator usage (and no patch-cord clutter). Up to 32-voice polyphony.
But, yes it's Synthmaker, so 32-bit Windows only. For 64 you'll need jBridge, etc. or a DAW that will bridge natively.
And to make it even less enticing, it comes with no presets, just like the real thing !
Can also be had in a more screen-friendly horizontal layout.
A smaller version, called 'minimodular' (containing modules equivalent to the resources of the minimoog) was used by Mac of BOINighT on 4 tracks of his recent album "Temporal Distortion".
Some of my other free VSTs are listed here at KVR under "KBplugs".
